01
What Wicca Actually Is
Begin with an accurate history rather than a romantic one. Trace Wicca's emergence in mid-twentieth-century Britain through Gardner, Valiente and the traditions that followed, and understand where it draws on older folk practice and where it does not. Distinguish Wicca as a religion from witchcraft as a practice, and from the eclectic solitary path most modern practitioners actually walk. Learn to speak about the tradition without inflating its age or its claims.
02
Ethics — The Rede, the Threefold Law & Consent
The module that shapes everything after it. Study the Wiccan Rede and the Threefold Law as ethical frameworks, and the ongoing debate about how literally each is held. Work through the practical questions honestly: consent in workings that involve another person, why binding and coercive love magic sit outside this course, and how to redirect a client or student who arrives wanting to influence someone against their will.
03
The Wheel of the Year
Work through all eight sabbats — Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh and Mabon — their agricultural and seasonal roots, their associated deities and themes, and the observances traditionally kept at each. Learn to adapt the Wheel meaningfully to the Indian climate and calendar rather than importing a Northern European seasonal cycle that does not match the sky outside your window.
04
The Altar, the Tools & Their Consecration
Set up a working altar: the athame, wand, chalice, pentacle, censer and cauldron, and what each represents within the elemental scheme. Learn the consecration rite for a new tool, how tools are stored, handled and cleansed, and the etiquette around who may touch them. Includes building a functional altar in a small home, and a discreet travelling altar for practitioners without private space.
05
Casting & Closing the Circle
Master the ritual container. Learn cleansing and grounding, calling the quarters and the elemental guardians, invoking the God and Goddess, raising energy, and — the part most often rushed — closing the circle and releasing what was called, in the correct order. Practise the full cast repeatedly until it is fluent, and learn how to close down safely if a ritual must be interrupted partway.
06
Correspondences & Timing
Build the reference table every spell is constructed from: elements, directions, colours, planetary days and hours, herbs, oils, stones, and lunar phase. Learn why waxing, full, waning and dark moon each suit different intentions, and how to select correspondences that reinforce one another rather than assembling ingredients at random. You will leave with your own correspondence reference, built by hand.
07
Candle, Herb & Written Spellcraft
The practical craft. Learn candle dressing, carving and colour selection; herb sachets, jar spells and simmer pots; knot magic and cord work; and written spellcraft including petitions and sigils. Each form is taught as a structure — intention, correspondence, action, release — so you can build your own rather than only repeat what you have been given. Includes safe practice with flame, herbs and allergens.
08
Writing Your Own Spells & the Book of Shadows
Bring it together: define an intention precisely, choose your timing, select correspondences, build the working, and — critically — record it. Learn to keep a Book of Shadows that logs the working, the conditions, and the honest outcome, including the times nothing happened. Covers daily devotional practice, the solitary practitioner's year, and how to keep learning once the course ends.
Curated Tools Shipped to Your Address · Spellcraft Edition
Each kit is energetically prepared to support your spellcraft practice — the amulet anchors your protective field during ritual, the ritual aura salt and crystal serve in casting and cleansing the circle, and the cord cutting mist assists the release and grounding that should follow every working.
